Dr. Daniel Cameron will be presenting a program on Lyme & other tick-borne diseases at Williamson Jr/Sr High School, 33 Jct Cross Rd, Tioga, PA 16946 on Saturday, April 9, 2016. He will give a presentation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM then open it up for Questions & Answers until 6:00 PM. This is FREE and open to everyone who would like to learn more about these diseases. Lyme is the great intimidator; therefore, you may have been misdiagnosed with one or more illnesses and “it could be Lyme or another tick-borne disease”.
Dr. Cameron graduated with a degree in Medicine and Epidemiologyy from the University of Minnesota followed by residencies in New York at both Beth Israel Medical Center and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He has pioneered the field of clinical epidemiology in Lyme disease as an author of the 2004 and 2014 practice guidelines, analytic reviews, and clinical trials.
Dr. Cameron has led ILADS, the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society, to new heights as its president from 2007 to 2009 and again starting 2013

Nicole Chinnici, MS will present on ticks, tick-borne disease, prevention, testing, etc.
Nicole attended undergraduate school at Bloomsburg University where she studied Biochemistry. In 2012, she was accepted into the Masters of Biology program at East Stroudsburg University. During her time at ESU, she completed research for her Master’s thesis on the genetics of black bear populations in NJ, NY and PA. Upon graduation in May of 2014, Nicole was hired at the Northeast Wildlife DNA Laboratory. At the lab, Nicole is involved in multiple tick borne disease studies looking at Borreli burgdorferi infections in ticks and animal host. Her day to day routine involves handling ticks and testing them for the presence of B. burgdorferi and eight other tick-borne pathogens. Nicole is working at the Northeast Wildlife DNA Lab as a Forensic Scientist and with the Pennsylvania Department of Health to set up Lyme disease educational workshops throughout PA.
